Moving into a place is a pain in the toe (I'll put a pic up shortly). My advice to you all is to take a moment to change into sneakers before attempting to move any large furniture, even if you're rushing home from a corporate picnic.
Zoli and I ended up signing a lease at an apartment complex in downtown Stamford, CT. It's a great two bedroom deal with a lot of space—oh, and it's two blocks from six Irish pubs, including our favorites (Temple2 and Tigin).
I just found out something interesting, too. My bartender friend Brian at Tigin had told me a story about how the bar was built in Ireland and then shipped to the US for reassembly. What I didn't realize is that I've been to other bars owned by the same guy (such as Fado in Atlanta, GA) and that the company3 that builds these bars also built the Kinsale4 in Boston, MA and Desmond O'Malley's5 in Framingham, MA. My girlfriend Megan used to go to O'Malley's when she lived in Southboro, MA. Go figure.

Finding a place to live is a pain in the ass. You'd think landlords would be more eager to lease out vacant homes and make some money; one lady already cancelled on us twice in about one day! Not that I need to move right away (I'm staying in a coworker's finished basement temporarily), but I don't need this stress.

My college roommate Steve recently got engaged6 to a fantastic girl named Jenny. Our roommate Paul (you might remember him from my trip to England) and I will be groomsmen at their wedding next year.
If all goes well, I should also get to party with Jenny and Steve at the Starboard7 in Dewey Beach, DE this summer. I can't wait!

Still adding pages ... you're going to have to put up with some "Page Not Found" replies for a little while. Slowly but surely, I'll get things posted. Thanks for being patient!

Well, I finally got around to releasing my redesigned site. Someone pointed out that I had a splash page up for about two months telling people that it would be done soon. Oops ... sorry, but I do have a real job to do!
Anyway, I've obviously been busy with work, but I'm also spending a lot of time in Boston. Megan likes me to come visit now and again.
Hopefully putting more cool stuff up won't take too long now, though ... I especially want to finish a Feature on my trip to Brazil for Carnival. Stay tuned!
