Looks like it's been a few weeks since my last update. Not to worry, though ... things have been busy, but good. Very good in fact! I had an amazing birthday weekend (photos should go up soon) and the holiday season has given me several occasions to really enjoy this time of year, from corporate events to raucous parties, family dinners to low-key nights with friends. Sure, I got some great presents for Christmas, but I've also done a few simple things that have taken on a deeper meaning this year, like sipping caesars (basically a Canadian bloody mary) with Megan, playing a hard-fought game of chess against Phil, catching up with Mark over a Guinness, or watching a new DVD. Now it's about time to gear up for the New Year. Hopefully it will be filled with more of these little unplanned events and plenty of snow for snowboarding! Oh, and more time to make updates to my site (if I'm lucky).

Check My Vibe
A little while back, Pontiac was having a contest to name the colors for its new Vibe2. The prizes were pretty good (e.g. a trip to Paris) and, even though I'm no great fan of Pontiacs, this new car looks like it might have some promise ... so I put in an entry. One of the features of the promotional site was something they called the "Vibe-O-Meter". Basically, you answered a few questions about what type of tattoo you would get, what shoes you wear, etc. and they claimed they would tell you what your "vibe" is. Anyway, I just came across my results again recently and I think anyone who knows me well will get a laugh out of how accurate they are. Check it out:
You are an exotic dancer with a paradoxical tendency to remain clothed. You insist on a proper place for everything, though at times your table manners have been called into question. Most interestingly, you bring an indestructible optimism to even the tightest parking situation. In the final analysis, if you can't bring along at least four of your closest compadres, you aren't interested.
How ridiculous is that?!?
