25th Birthday
A few of my close friends braved torrential rain to join me for (more than) a few drinks at Emily's in Downtown Crossing to celebrate my 25th birthday. The crowds were modest at first, but as the night wore on more and more people came out and we had a great time.
Christmas Ball
The following night my family hosted a catered dinner before our neighborhood's annual Christmas ball, a black tie affair at Hamilton Hall2. We invited a slew of friends, then threw a post-party to wrap up the night. Little did I know, but I had another birthday surprise in store for me the next morning … everyone—even the guests who didn't stay at our house—prepared a birthday brunch for me. Good food and great company, my two favorite presents!
