Plenty of good friends came into town for the 4th, knowing that it's one of the best holidays to visit Boston. They made the trip from as close as Connecticut and New York, and as far as Colorado. It was great to have them all around, though.
Boston must have set some record highs for the weather on the 4th, though. Between the heat and the humidity, it was virtually impossible to stay cool. And it didn't help that everyone crammed onto the balcony for our awesome view of the fireworks! Even well after dark the temperatures were so high that I broke a sweat changing CDs to keep the dance party going.
